“Dancing is a way of life in Latin America, especially around Christmas. Every celebration involves dancing – this is how children learn the typical dance rhythms. I love dancing myself. I used to go to ballet school for many years, as a hobby. I learned not only ballet, but also flamenco and Mexican folk dances there. I worked as a flamenco instructor in several ballet studios and dance schools while I was a student – I even had my own little flamenco troupe! And so I was delighted when the opportunity arose to make this recording.”
